Hand hygiene at school and within our communities plays an essential role in helping to reduce the spread of infectious diseases.
The WASH in Schools initiative of Rotary International was created to motivate Rotary clubs to develop sustainable water, sanitation, hygiene (collectively referred to as WASH) and the Rotary Club of Sta Rosa Centro heeded this call. And so a hand washing facility was made at Santa Rosa Science and Technology High School, home of RC Sta Rosa Centro’s Interact Club. There may be no face-to-face classes at this time but this facility will definitely be an asset come January.
