Crafting the Rotary Story : A Masterclass in Narrative Writing

Service Above Self-Expression: Crafting the Rotary Story ✨
There are stories that simply tell what happened, and there are stories that inspire people to care, to act, and to make a difference.
This afternoon, 45 enthusiastic participants, together with two dedicated advisers, gathered for a meaningful learning experience through “Service Above Self-Expression: Crafting the Rotary Story,” a Masterclass in Narrative Writing and Digital Storytelling.
More than just a writing workshop, the masterclass reminded us that every act of service has a story worth telling. Through the power of words and digital storytelling, our service initiatives can reach more people, inspire others, and create an impact that goes beyond the moment.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes to our resource speaker, PDG and CP Chit Lijauco, for generously sharing her time, wisdom, experience, and expertise. Thank you for helping our participants discover how powerful storytelling can bring the spirit of service to life.
We also recognize the great effort and hard work of Atty. Glendale, whose dedication helped bring this initiative together. Our sincere gratitude likewise goes to everyone who contributed to making this learning experience possible: Rtn. Jophen, PP Renei, PP Bel, PN Leny, and Rotaract President Vin.
We are especially grateful to our young leaders, Abby and Shane, Interact Presidents from Canossa and Scitech Schools, whose enthusiasm and leadership remind us that the future of service is in good hands. Our appreciation also goes to the advisers from Schitech school Ms Inna and Mr Simon for guiding and supporting our young participants.
And most especially, our heartfelt thanks to PN Leny Salmingo for generously opening this venue PUP school and helping make this meaningful learning opportunity possible. Your generosity is, in itself, a beautiful expression of Service Above Self.
To all our participants, congratulations for taking this step toward becoming better storytellers and, more importantly, better communicators of service. May you leave today not only with new writing skills, but with a renewed appreciation for the stories behind every project, every volunteer, every beneficiary, and every life touched by Rotary.
Because service becomes more powerful when its story is heard.
Let us continue to write.
Let us continue to share.
Let us continue to inspire.
And together, let us tell the stories of service that deserve to be remembered.
Mabuhay ang Rotary! Mabuhay ang Rotaract and Interact! ❤️💙
May our stories continue to create lasting impact, and may our service always speak louder than words.
