Sikhayan stands for Sikap Kabuhayan, an annual festival celebrating the spirit of enterprise which through the decades has fueled Santa Rosa’s economic growth. It recognizes the contributions made by Santa Rosa’s sectors, from farmers, fisherfolks, artisans, workers and entrepreneurs big and small, to the city’s continuing progress.
Representation in the Sikhayan festival thru a float is a joint project of all the Rotary Clubs in Santa Rosa City. In prior years, one or 2 clubs will join the Sikhayan festival parade and some, none at all. The club decided to have one float for all Santa Rosa Clubs – RC Santa Rosa Centro, RC Santa Rosa, RC Santa Rosa South, RC Nuvali, RC Laguna Bel-Air and RC Metro Sta Rosa.
