Students from public high schools in Sta. Rosa, Laguna joined the poster making contest about environmental preservation sponsored by the Rotary Club of Sta. Rosa Centro last August 14, 2013. The event was held at Central III Elementary School in the center of the city. A total of 6 teams from 5 schools joined the contest. Ms. Lerma Julian, a visual artist and one of the judges, made a short painting demo prior to the contest proper.
In the end, the posters made by the following schools won :
1st place : Balibago National High School
2nd place : Don Jose National High School
3rd place : Aplaya National High School Annex
