Goal of the project is to minimize harm, protect property and assets, maintain the continuity of essential functions, support rapid and effective recovery, and strengthen resilience during disasters.
The Rotary Club of Sta. Rosa Centro actively participates in trainings conducted by the Santa Rosa City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and the Office of Civil Defense. These capacity building sessions go beyond disaster response and include the globally recognized Incident Command System. Several of our members have completed courses such as the Basic Incident Command System and Emergency Response Team training. These programs also deepen our understanding of Disaster Preparedness, Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, Disaster Response, and Disaster Early Recovery.
