This project covers several Rotary areas of focus :
Maternal and Child Health – Feeding program for mother and kids
Disease Prevention and Treatment – Health Kits
Supporting the Environment – Tree Planting and Shore Cleanup
Peace and Conflict Prevention – Peace and Order like Marshall for cleanliness, and barangay ordinance for fines for which 50% goes to the Marshalls and 50% goes to the barangay
Water and Sanitation – Discussion of MRE to lessen solid waste, 7Rs, Circular economy, etc
Early Education and Literacy – Teaching to draw flowers, and other art stuff to kids
Economic & Community Development – Distribution of Pioneer Epoxy and teaching them how to fix their own boats
Other avenues of service :
- Club Service – Sisterhood signing and fellowship
- Public Image- signs distribution for proper disposal of waste
The project was spearheaded by the Rotary Club of Santa Rosa West and participated in by several clubs from District 3820 : RC Atimonan Sunrise, RC San Pedro South, RC Nasugbu, RC Batangas, RC San Pedro, RC Cabuyao Circle, RC Uptown Sta Rosa, RC Nuvali, RC Calamba City and of course, RC Santa Rosa Centro.
