Reading is the most important skill in learning. It requires passion, love and innovation in order to effectively bestow this skill to the diverse learners. To foster this, a synergic project of Rotary Club of Santa Rosa Centro, Kansai Paint and Caingin Elementary School prospered which aimed to recognize the creativity, talents and skills of the learners while promoting the genuine love of reading and beautifying the school through mural painting. This project also targets active participation among parents since they are key players in moulding the learners.
Objectives
1. To conduct an art activity involving 50 learners and 10 parents;
2. To express genuine love of literacy through mural arts; and
3. To beautify the 28 m wall of the school.
