Child Trafficking is a significant issue in the Philippines. The club conducted a Child Trafficking Awareness Seminar in an effort to address this issue.
Apart from the seminar , a book donation for Sikap and Sikat Devt and Rehab Center Recipients for 30 children with age 4 to 6, from marginalized sector of Bagong Silang, Caloocan City. The Books will be used as reference materials in the day to day tutorial sessions of DLSU-COSCA partner organization,( KASAKA KABABAIHAN SANDIGAN sa KAUNLARAN) which aims to empower not only women but also children through literacy program.
