In support of the TrackSafe: Safety Awareness Seminar for Trolley Drivers of Barangay San Antonio, Los Baños, Laguna, RC Santa Rosa Centro distributed 25 reflector shoulder straps to 25 trolley drivers on December 7, 2024.
The project was implemented in Barangay San Antonio, an area in Los Baños with houses surrounding train rails. They are a community known for their trolley transportation system where drivers manually operate these trolleys along the train tracks, often with their bare feet or slippers. In coordination with San Antonio Trolley Organization, Barangay San Antonio, Los Baños and in partnership with Laguna Local Government Unit, Rotary Club of Batangas, and Rotary Club of Sta. Rosa Centro, this event was made possible.
