Club Kickoff Project
This is a joint Project of the Rotary Clubs of Area 1, Group 3 of RI District 3820 ; Barangay Sinalhan Kap Solenad Baby C. de Leon; Sangguniang Barangay ng Sinalhan ; Hon. Mayor Arlene Arcillas.
A Project on the Seven areas of Focus of Rotary :

- Tree Planting (Environment)

Barangay Sinalhan, a residential area near Laguna de Bay, can be challenging to live in, due to pollution and the risk of natural disasters, particularly during typhoons. The growth of water hyacinth needs to be managed, as well as the garbage that some residents recklessly dump in the lake.
Together with the community, we cleaned the area and the open drainage near the Barangay hall. We taught the children about the value of the lake and how to take care of the environment and their health. We also held a film viewing entitled “Let Laguna Lake Live and Love”.
As part of the 7-in-1 Kickoff Project of Area 1 Group 3, we planted bamboo propagules on the banks of Barangay Sinalhan to promote environmental sustainability and prevent erosion.
